Every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and safe. Safeguarding is the foundation of everything we do.

Safeguarding at ACS

At Amberley Court School, safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. We believe every child has the right to feel safe, protected, and valued. Many of our pupils have experienced disruption, trauma, or environments where they didn’t feel secure—and it is our job to change that.

We are committed to creating a culture of vigilance, trust, and emotional safety. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, from our designated safeguarding leads to every Coach and team member. All staff receive regular safeguarding training and are supported to act promptly and compassionately whenever a concern arises.

Our safeguarding procedures are robust and follow all statutory guidance, including Keeping Children Safe in Education. We work closely with families, local authorities, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for every child.

If you have a concern about a child’s safety, or would like to speak to a member of our safeguarding team, please contact us directly.
