"We don’t ask pupils to fit into school, we shape school around each pupil.
Through compassion, curiosity, and a deep sense of belonging, we create the safety and trust children need to learn, grow, and shine."

Our School
Where All Can Shine

Amberley Court is a specialist independent school for pupils aged 6 to 16 with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). Many of our learners have experienced disrupted education due to unmet needs, repeated exclusions, or long periods out of school. They may arrive with high levels of anxiety, low self-esteem, and a belief that school isn’t a place for them.

We’re here to change that.

At Amberley Court, every pupil is welcomed with compassion, met with

curiosity, and held within a deep sense of belonging. Our team, known as Coaches, are not just educators; they are trusted adults who build strong,

meaningful relationships that support regulation, self-worth, and growth.

We understand that behaviour is communication, and we respond with calm

consistency, emotional attunement, and a trauma-informed approach.

Our curriculum blends academic learning with therapeutic support, practical skills, and emotional literacy. Every child’s journey is personalised and paced around their needs, interests, and goals. Whether it’s learning to read with

confidence, exploring science through hands-on experiences, or taking part in Thrive and wellbeing sessions, we ensure that every child is seen, heard, and

supported to progress.

We know that success looks different for every pupil. That’s why we define achievement not just by qualifications—but by confidence, resilience,

relationships, and the ability to thrive in the world beyond school.

If you're looking for a school where your child will be truly understood,

supported, and inspired to grow—Amberley Court is ready to welcome you.

We’d love to show you around.
