Amberely Court School
All Can Shine

At Amberley Court, we create a safe, inclusive space where children and young people feel seen, valued, and supported to thrive socially and academically. We’re a specialist school for pupils aged 6 to 16 with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

Every child is welcomed with compassion, met with curiosity, and held within a deep sense of belonging. We understand that behaviour is communication, and we work relationally to build trust, regulation, and confidence, one connection at a time.

Experienced Staff

At Amberley Court, every adult is known as a Coach, because we believe that education is a partnership built on trust, respect, and guidance. Our team brings together skilled professionals from a range of backgrounds in education, therapeutic support, and pastoral care, all united by a shared commitment to compassion, curiosity, and belonging.

We know that strong relationships are the foundation of emotional safety and learning. Whether it’s in the classroom, during a regulation break, or in quiet moments of connection, our Coaches model calm consistency and champion every child’s growth, academically, socially, and emotionally.

Tailored Curriculum

We know many of our pupils have had a tough start in education. That’s why our curriculum is flexible, personalised, and built on strong relationships.

We offer a broad range of subjects alongside life skills, well-being, and therapeutic activities to support social, emotional, and academic development. Pupils can work towards qualifications or follow more practical pathways, depending on their needs.

With small classes and trusted Coaches, we support each child to learn at their own pace, build confidence, and take steady steps forward—so they can grow and shine in their own way.

Supportive Environment

Our school is calm, structured, and designed around the needs of our pupils. With small class sizes, low-stimulus spaces, and access to regulation areas, we help children feel safe and ready to learn. Clear routines, consistent staffing, and therapeutic support create the stability pupils need to build trust, manage emotions, and re-engage with education—at their own pace.
